Will Arnett's sitcom The Millers gets cancelled by CBS just four shows into its second season

No more Millers: CBS cancelled Will Arnett's dysfunctional family sitcom on Friday

It seems viewers have had enough of dysfunctional families... even funny ones.
CBS has axed sitcom The Millers, starring Will Arnett, just four shows into its second season due to dismal ratings, according to People.
The 44-year-old starred as a divorced local television news reporter plagued by his eccentric parents, played by Margo Martindale and Beau Bridges

The station bought in popular Two And A Half Men star Sean Hayes to give the show a boost but his casting failed to spark viewers' interest.
An original episode of the comedy will run Monday but production will be shut down after shooting on an episode finishes on Tuesday, according to Entertainment Weekly.
A decision has yet to be made about what to do with the unaired episodes.
It's suggested CBS may fill the spot with new episodes of the Melissa McCarthy comedy Mike and Molly, which was picked up for a fifth season but has yet to premiere

The Millers has struggled in the ratings after being shifted to Monday nights following 2 Broke Girls, EW reported.
Last week's show tallied 6.48 million viewers, down from its season premiere of 8.93 million and series premiere of 13 million.
The Millers is the first returning sitcom to be dropped this season but the fifth show overall to be axed, per People.
ABC has already cancelled Selfie and Manhattan Love Story, while NBC dumped new sitcoms Bad Judge and A To Z.
